UKCA Marking

The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking.

The technical requirements (‘essential requirements’) you must meet – and the conformity assessment processes and standards that can be used to demonstrate conformity – are largely the same as they were for the CE marking.

The UKCA marking came into effect on 1 January 2021. However, to allow businesses time to adjust to the new requirements, you will still be able to use the CE marking until 1 January 2022 in most cases, but Daniamant wanted to ensure we were proactive and complete this ahead of time.

As the UKCA mark is not recognised on the EU market and products still need a CE mark for sale in the EU Daniamant products will be dual marked with both CE and UKCA.

The UKCA dual marking will apply to the following Daniamant products:

L6-Ex

L6A-Ex

L161

L163
