2021 has been an exciting year for Daniamant with the acquisition of Daniamant by Ernströmgruppen AB and multiple new product releases. Below you can see some of the highlights during 2021.

Ernströmgruppen AB has agreed to acquire Daniamant A/S and Daniamant Ltd. from the NTR Holding A/S Group.

“This strategic acquisition brings together Daniamant’s and Hammar’s strengths and creates a solid foundation to further expand our businesses with the support of Ernströmgruppen Group. All at Daniamant look forward to this next exciting chapter with its new owners. Combining Ernströmgruppen Groups financial strength, engineering capabilities and proven experience will create a more dynamic environment for Daniamant, assisting us in developing further strategies to assist in the growth of Daniamant and Ernströmgruppen, whilst at the same time exploring key synergies that exist with other companies in our new owners portfolio.” Kevin Rough, CEO Daniamant.

Daniamant announced its impressive line-up of new launches at this year’s METSTRADE 2021.  Daniamant unveiled four new products at the leading global leisure marine event: NAS24, RL7, SL-450, and W3 Polar Light.

Daniamant presented its electronic inclinometer, the DanEl-300, which is helping the industry to meet upcoming regulations set by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

The IMO is making it a mandatory carriage requirement for new-build container vessels and dry-bulk carriers to have electronic inclinometers on-board. The new IMO regulation is expected to be in force by early 2024 and is anticipated to require two sets of electronic inclinometers on each vessel for redundancy. The electronic inclinometer will need to be interfaced with the mandatory Voyage Data Recorder (VDR), to record the vessel’s heel and roll.

Marine alarms and alerts are of the utmost importance when operating a ship to ensure safety of passengers and crew, the operation and condition of the ship and to secure the successful completion of the voyage as planned.

Daniamant A/S is now introducing the Nautical Alarm System NAS24 with the aim to enhance marine safety.
