Daniamant has announced its impressive line-up of new launches at this year’s METSTRADE 2021.  Daniamant will unveil four new products at the leading global leisure marine event: NAS24, RL7, SL-450, and W3 Polar Light.

The four new product innovations reflect Daniamant’s core mission of ensuring safety at sea, striving to design and manufacture the highest quality equipment for leisure and commercial seagoers.

You can visit Daniamant and experience the new products at booth 01.708 at METS.

NAS24

The new Daniamant Nautical Alarm System (NAS24) presents binary alarms and status on a 7” screen, specifically designed for unqiue marine applications. The NAS24 consists of two units: the Operating Panel and a Control Unit.

The Operating Panel is a dimmable 7” full graphic touch display with day and night vision and touch panel protection IP65 rating. Each alarm text can be edited by user via the on-screen keyboard and each channel is selectable as alarm or status indication. The Control Unit is a compact module that can be mounted on terminal rail, with up to 23 binary channels. The compact Control Unit also has relay outputs for system failure and common alarms, with additional transistor outputs for int./ext. Buzzer and more.

The NAS24 is easy to install, configure, and interface. The intuitive equipment operates with typical marine standards and is DNV-GL type approved.

RL7

Daniamant’s first alkaline solution for life rafts, the RL7, features the very latest LED technology to enhance performance and reduces logistics and transportation costs worldwide. The RL7 comprises of two sections, The External Light and Lead and The Internal Light and Battery.

The External Light is a flashing LED Light, offering advances in reliability and performance.

The Internal Light and Battery increases reliability by powering the external light. The two units are connected by a polarised sealed plug, for ease of service and replacement.

SL-450

Building on the success of the SL-400, the SL-450 is a high quality external Lifeboat Light designed to be used where space restrictions apply on vessels. The low profile external Lifeboat Light is designed to be fitted on motorised survival craft and to be connected to the craft‘s 12v electrical system.

This durable light uses the same advances in LED technology as the other lights in this range. It features very low current consumption and enhanced reliability.

W3 Polar Light

Daniamant has designed and developed a Lifejacket Light which is specifically aimed to work in harsh environments in arctic waters with very low temperatures. The new and type approved Dan W3P and Dan M3P (W: Water activated, M: Manual activated, 3: 3rd generation lights and P: Polar), can withstand these challenges and tested down to -52 degree Celsius – an industry first. Passengers and crew on-board vessels sailing into these cold areas can now be confident that the light of the lifejacket will work even under these circumstances.

The Dan W3P and M3P is based on Daniamant’s successful and de-facto marine industry light generation, the Dan W3/M3 which has been supplied globally in hundreds of thousands for over many years.

The world’s largest B2B leisure marine exhibition, METSTRADE, will be running from 16 – 18 November 2021 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The international trade exhibition showcases marine equipment, materials, and systems, serving as a platform for innovation, market developments and networking.

Kevin Rough, CEO at Daniamant, says, “We are delighted to reveal our four innovative products, offering a vast array of new beneficial improvements at this year’s METSTRADE. We can’t wait welcome back our valued customers and all event attendees to come and visit our stand where we will be showcasing the fantastic new range.”
