Daniamant is proud and honored to support the World’s oldest School Ship the Danish ‘Georg Stage’. Recently Georg Stage had the Daniamant marine salinometer SL8005 system installed to
measure and supervise the salinity level of the fresh water onboard the ship. If the salinity level exceeds a preset level an alarm will be generated by the SL8005 so the crew can take appropriate action.
Georg Stage apart from being the World’s oldest it is also the world’s only independent training ship, as, unlike other training ships, it is not affiliated with any onshore school. The ship set sails for the first time during the summer of 1882.
