Daniamant gains joint site ISO 9001 approval
december 2, 2008 12:00 pm
We are proud to announce that Daniamant has just been awarded ISO 9001 approval from Lloyds Register and for the first time, this approval covers both Daniamant ApS in Denmark and Daniamant Ltd in the UK.
This is a major step forward for Daniamant. The new joint Daniamant was only formed in July 2006 and both companies used different quality systems and different notified bodies. After many long months of work, from many people on both sites, these systems have been brought together. Indeed, both locations have benefited by bringing together the best from both locations.
This new joint quality system will add to the flexibility of Daniamant and help us to work together more closely in the future.
Daniamant now holds joint ISO 9001 and Marine Equipment Directive (Module D) approvals.
The survey of both sites was carried out over a two week period by Graham Johnston, Lead Specialist for Lloyds Register EMEA, who can be seen below awarding Arne Gillin, Daniamant Managing Director, the new approval certificate.
