Whatever the outcome of the Brexit negotiations Daniamant will be ready for trading on 1st November, we continue to move our approvals into Europe to ensure that our customers are not affected by Brexit.

Over the past 12 months we have moved our Marine Equipment Directive (MED) Authorised Representative to Denmark, transferred our ISO9001 certification and ATEX approvals into Europe and carried out numerous other risk mitigation measures.

The final step in our Brexit planning will occur on 31st October, which will be to move our current MED Module D and Module B certificates for all applicable products from LR to DNV GL. At the day of writing LR do not have Notified Body status within the EU, hence the decision was made to move Notified Bodies, we will not risk supply to our Customers.

All transferred certificates will be uploaded onto our website from 1st November, please note that all products manufactured up to 31st October will be certified by LR(0038), all products manufactured from 1st November will be certified by DNV (0098).

Any questions please contact Kevin Rough or Joanna Strickland, Group Quality Manager.
