Daniamant Ltd is proud to celebrate its 20-year anniversary in the United Kingdom, marking two decades of dedicated service to the marine safety industry.

The milestone traces back to 2006, when Daniamant acquired the Survivor Location Lights division from McMurdo. This strategic acquisition formed the foundation of Daniamant Ltd, which officially began trading on 1 July 2006 in Portsmouth.

While Daniamant Ltd celebrates 20 years of operations, the heritage of its UK light business extends much further. The technologies and expertise acquired from McMurdo are rooted in over 50 years of innovation in marine safety lighting and reserve battery systems—solutions that have long been trusted as industry standards worldwide.

By combining this legacy with Daniamant’s continued focus on quality, innovation, and global safety leadership, Daniamant Ltd has grown into a key contributor within the Daniamant Group’s international operations.

Today, the Group proudly builds on more than five decades of experience in marine safety lighting and survivor location technology, delivering reliable solutions that enhance safety at sea across the globe.
